DAVIDH
3 hours ago, gancanny said: i came through saturday and it was almost clear both ways but it was early evening, just a heads up david, it is around 8 minutes from sutton bridge to the roundabout at kingslynn but going via wisbech it is 35 minutes providing you get by without problems, when the work first started it was chaotic so i waited to see how long the queue was, did a 3 point turn in the road, back to the roundabout and away on the diversion Sounds a good plan. Thanks.

I'm down from Saturday and just wondering if i should take the Wisbech detour. SwanR Posted Friday at 21:05 Share Posted Friday at 21:05 Ian I have just read that the road closure at Acle may have been lifted this afternoon. Anglian Water have managed to fix the burst main sooner than anticipated. Guessing that might be a better way back to Martham than up through Wroxham if you're out and about at the weekend.

The Acle Bridge Inn reported on FB that the roadworks are still there but traffic light controlled now. I haven’t been through, so unsubstantiated, but as the road closure must have impacted their non boat trade, I guess they’ve an interest in reporting the current status.
