You mean the lower toll, the depth of the rivers, the lack of high water issues, the lack of locks, the closures, the complete ineptitude of the EA.....

Bedford to Earith is very pretty but the Ely end is pretty bleak and the old west not much more than a weedy ditch, I believe sea access is easier now with a floating pontoon at Kings Lynn but it wasn't there when we left and the wash is still nowt more than a soggy sandpit at low water.
