Rmt Union Industrial Action On Wednesday 27th July Affecting The Swing Bridges

Dear all,

 

We have been informed by Network Rail that due to planned industrial action from the RMT Union (National Union of Rail, Maritime and Transport Workers) on Wednesday 27 July, the Swing Bridges are affected as follows:

 

Oulton Broad – Unable to swing from 06:00hrs Wednesday until 06:00hrs Thursday due to staffing issues

 

Reedham – Unable to swing from 06:00hrs Wednesday until 06:00hrs Thursday due to staffing issues

 

Somerleyton – Open to navigation throughout

 

Network Rail has apologised for the potential impact of these closures on the boating community.

 

We will issue an update if we receive any additional information from Network Rail.
