On whichever day this was filmed there were at least two boats stranded, and the video shows crew from one of them being airlifted. I guess if your boat was marooned in such a state you'd be very grateful to see the helicopter come along.

That was a while ago, 10 people 2 dogs and a rabbit if I remember right and the EMS recovery boat damaged it's rudder trying to get it off and ended up with one of the recovery crew taken off by inshore lifeboat and one airlifted while the helicopter was out.

It was pretty much discussed to death at the time on several forums.

By looking at the photos they may have gone on the wrong side Of the post or some mechanical problem has occurred?

Andrew - same applies! Drop the mudweight, don't panic, and wait! They won't be the first, nor the last, and as no life was endangered, send them the bill!!!
