MrPlant
Hi All, Some of you may like to see 😃 I Wanted a little tinkering project during the later end of covid lockdowns etc, purchased in summer 2021 from NBS in Wroxham, was in need of an update to say the least, but it had potential. Original Gel which shined well after a polish, original rear perkins engine with hydraulic drive, which starts & drives for hours perfectly. I had a load of photos from when I purchased it, but my phone broke and only had a couple saved from after I’d emptied it! She was a mishmash of old ply units, rather strange interior & the contents of a 4 bed house, filled 2 full van loads of rubbish out of it! 😂 However, it was a nice year or so just tinkering, messing around and spending some lovely hours loosing myself tidying it up playing, just a nice bit of relaxed fun for me personally. She’s far from the ritz, but I feel happy I’ve saved another great modern classic broads cruiser from decline, it’s now ready for a new toilet and a service, then we’ll use it as a day boat next year, ideal for towing the kayaks, chucking the paddle boards on top & cruising up to coltishall for the quiet waters where the kids enjoy kayaking. May even have a night or two on it next summer. here’s a few pictures I took on Wednesday last week of it moored up next to my little fishing boat looking all happy, hope you enjoy, welcome all comments 😬😃& if anyone knows any further history of it, I’d love to hear. 😊 12 1
