YnysMon
Has the seafood restaurant they were running closed down, or is it seasonal?
OldBerkshireBoy
https://east-hills.co.uk/ Had a great fish meal there once. Havent been there lately but heard it was no longer a seafood resturant which seems so looking at the menu.
BroadAmbition
Last time I ate there was a while ago when Indy was owned by Robin. I seemed to remember it was far from cheep Griff 1
YnysMon
It does look rather pricey. Almost £6 for a bowl of porridge! I can understand the full-english being pricey though if it's made from farm shop ingredients, and it's not that much more than full-english's in cafes in farm shops (I looked at La Hogue on the A11 and Vera's Coffee Shop near Weyford Bridge).
addicted
We had lunch there just about a year ago. Ts and Cs wouldn't allow me to give an accurate account! Carole 1
ranworthbreeze
I havebeen in there in its various facelifts, it is what it is but no more than that. I had a great meal at Potter |Heigham in the Cafe which was packed on Friday, loads of attentive staff and satisfied customers.
jeffbroadslover
Looking at the menu and the charges that go with it I would estimate that the baked beans work out at about 10pence each lol Jeff
SteveO
They don't even give a price for their Sunday roast. Presumably your bank manager has to engage in direct negotiation with theirs.

I've mentioned it previously, but it was a long time ago and it has been removed for me being useful It has however changed quite a bit since then but if you dont mind overpaying a bit it isn't the worst place to visit, there are better places of course £13 for a full english, £3 for a latte, can't comment on the food as I don't partake in that It is dog friendly however, and they do a doggy dinner on sundays
Ray
Dog friendly is always a plus for us 👍
CambridgeCabby
TBH their lunch prices are more than competitive compared to some other riverside hostelries , and I would presume of a higher standard if they’re using local farm produce . The majority of Northern riverside pubs charge £15 near as dammit for an overcooked burger with frozen chips so local ham egg and chips for less than that seems reasonable to me .
