Tv Aerial Extension Poll

Why can all Boats have an Tv Aerial that can have a extended Tv poll to all Boats to gain a very good Tv reception and save a person getting up and down adjusting the Tv Aerial each time out in the Cold evenings or Rain?

Easy I set mine up in the cockpit.

If you moor the boat in the right direction each time you don't have to adjust the aerial.

There is a tv aerial called a Ballard from Wards of Brundel that dosn't need a pole. John

For Radio I take a 12ft wooden mast with me , to make sure I can contact base during the Three Rivers Race.

Once I fit my motor boat for TV and radio  I'm intending to fit a telescopic mast to get a good height.

Thought they still needed to be mounted as high as possible so wouldnt a mast/ pole be required on low boats and arent they 12v powered?

We do, a Ballard omni on end of a one metre pole, that fits to the top of the mast - Works just fine

actually, I dont watch TV except on rare occasions such as the Queens funeral, and maybe Charles coronation, so I dont miss something I never do anyway, I have way too many other things keeping me busy and spending my time on.

I used to watch TV only once every 4 or 5 years, when they announced a new Prime Minister. 

But recently I've got into a new soap opera and I've been watching almost every week

In your top picture the bow of the boat in it is lady beryl ?? Is that the George  formby lady beryl ?

We have a ballade aeriel  mounted on a  pole of about a metre. iIs fastened to a ratchet  that's attached to the grab rail on the saloon roof that enables it to be lowered when necessary.

All that second picture proves is that  Naga Munchetti is a hazard to navigation.

We have a Maxxview ariel 9 element aerial that sits on top of a 4ft pole which is in turn fitted to our cabin-top grab rail. Never had a problem on the broads.
