craigmc67
Hi has anyone got any empty 3.9 propane cylinders they want to get rid of locally
Smoggy
I doubt you'll get a refill on them as calor are discontinuing them along with the 4.5kg butane, or have you found supplies?
craigmc67
I have managed to get some but also I have a friend who can get them refilled so I’m in the process of seeing the costs and how many he can do

TerryM
I am very concerned following Smoggys comment about Calor fazing out the 3.9 Calor bottles. I have a 27' yacht and gas locker can only accommodate this size bottle. Have you any idea when they due to stop supply? Also, any ideas what my options might be please? Smoggy
Check the flogas website for options, they give bottle dimensions but I think the base rings are wider so if you have a moulded base and limited height you may need to do some mods, means another bottle cost and different regulator. They give two heights for propane so you may be better switching to 4.5kg butane. 3.9 propane and 4.5 butane are the same in calor sizes. TerryM
Thank you so much Smoggy. To say that is more than helpful is an understatement. The Blofield camping company are saying that they supply Flogas so that is well worth investigating. So grateful for you advice 👍
Smoggy
I think flogas also deliver for free if no local agents keep small bottles.
TerryM
That's so helpful Smoggy. That gives me a number of options. Thanks to you my anxiety levels are greatly reduced 🍻
floydraser
I spoke to my local supplier yesterday. I have a 3.9kg Calor propane bottle and need a refill. He told me he has 3 on order but he's not sure that he'll get them. He assures me if he can't he'll take mine against a 6kg refill. Doesn't help if you're limited on space but fine for my garage heater.
