Steam Trains

Recommended Posts

The last photo is number 1wroxham Broad having a heavy overhaul she has quite some history being built in the 1960s to go to a banana plantation during her build the order was cancelled and she was turned in to a diesel steam outline engine.
she had many homes over the years on all nearly of the railways in England but in 1991 she was brought by the bvr rumour has it they thought she was a steam engine!
unfortunately she wasn’t powerful enough so in the winter of 91 she was sent away to be rebuilt finally as a steam engine.

She entered service at Easter 92 and was the mainstay of motive power till blickling hall and spitfire arrived.
