Coming over the Ferry today notice huge and I mean huge drainage system installed near the windmill.  Rumour has cost 9 million to drain marshland.

I suspect that is part of the IDB upgrades - cannot remember when it was announced but the IDB are spending the money to upgrade some of their pumps. I think that some seven are being renewed in the area - I did see a list somewhere.

They looked huge from the road and Nuttals are involved.  You know what they say you can always tell where Nuttals are working you can hear the kettle boiling.

My good lady is on the project and can confirm they are massive. Yes 6 or 7, I believe all being replaced with fish friendly Archimedes screws.
