Andrewcook
There's Country File on BBC 1 at 5.30 about The Three Rivers Race Sailing from Horning. That's good to put the Norfolk Broads on the map plus Tourism for Norfolk that needs for the economy to prosper for the future. 3 3

TheQ
It was better than I expected, Sadly they didn't get up to my Guardship on Hickling broad nor The one on Ludham bridge which can be a quite spectacular turning point....
kpnut
I too would have liked to have seen Ludham Bridge as I’m sure it would be exciting, what with a tight turn, boats both ways and hireboats coming down from Stalham. But generally, an enjoyable hour.
ChrisB
Enjoyable change for Countryfile.
SteveO
For the first time in ages I enjoyed Countryfile yesterday. No wokery, no incessant references to National Parks and a fairly informed commentary about the 3 rivers. Someone even knew that a shroud in the context of sailing is nothing to do with dead bodies.
Broads01
I caught up with the programme on iPlayer this evening and really enjoyed it. I've never sailed and I've never watched the Three Rivers Race but I was left in no doubt what a brilliant event it is. I could see why a crowd gathers at Potter Heigham bridge.
oldgregg
What a great programme, almost as good as being there and it really helps bring the race to a broader audience. I was due to crew in the 3RR this year but we withdrew Wood Sorrel shortly before the race as the weather was terrible and we knew she wasn't the boat for those conditions. Much respect to those who did take part! Fantastic to see the three crews featured, and great to see the younger generation being included. Lizzie's dad is a mate of mine (and a multiple 3RR winner) and I think he'll be pretty proud of her and that result.
