I'm certainly not trying to teach anyone how to suck eggs but be careful out there. It's more for 1st timers who have a look at the forum. The river offers very little protection from the sun in most places. It might feel cooler with shirt off cruising with a breeze but it's not advisable. I've seen some horrendous cases of sunburn from boaters not realising that they were getting burned. And remember the river and white boats reflect the suns rays making it worse. I hope I'm not sounding like a killjoy.
