Looking this morning on the Brinks Web Cam,  for the first time for ages their home moorings are empty.    Good to see that business is picking up.   May be the forecast for a few better days has helped.

I’ve noticed more space available at NBD recently as well when walking past. And a few more boats from other hire yards moored up there as well as the spaces taken on the main river near Hotel Wroxham.

The start of school holidays in much of England and Wales(?).  I know the Scottish schools finished a couple of weeks ago.  We’ve been moored at Beccles overnight and there were just eight visiting craft moored, five hire and three private.

Great to see the basin empty, I know it's silly season on the rivers but I love nothing more than seeing the rivers busy with families having fun and messing about on boats

It's the start of the summer break next week, the last few days of school is usually filled with fun and games and not much teaching although I think kids learn a lot from having fun

Looking forward to six weeks off with my own kids, a week in Norfolk, then some camping and fishing. Don't worry, I can warn you all when we are going to have tornado's and hurricanes, it will be the minute we put the tent up :default_biggrin:
