SwanR
Hopefully there is no issue with posting this link here. I picked up from Facebook that the BA are running a survey which includes access to footpaths. I know we have a few members here who are quite passionate about this subject so thought they might wish to respond. https://survey123.arcgis.com/share/28317cf3ac1043199ed450818442fc81?fbclid=IwZXh0bgNhZW0BMAABHfmA7MF7022wBRGdczrnqLJkdm00iizFeONiv6uXvRxbtAoNZpRne7Fszw_aem_AmIGzKpxH0QAxMZgndeQ_w&utm_medium=paid&utm_source=fb&utm_id=120212525723650437&utm_content=120212525723730437&utm_term=120212525723720437&utm_campaign=120212525723650437

SwanR
I would be very happy if anyone could find a better link and edit my post accordingly. I couldn’t find reference to the survey on the BA website. @BroadsAuthority is there a link somewhere?
NeilB
It’s a bit strange the BA is running the survey when, as far as I know, most footpaths, cycle paths etc are owned and operated by Norfolk Council. Someone complained about the Weaver Way on the survey Facebook post, they just referred them to the NCC Why are they poking their noses in when time and money is better spent on ensuring bridges open, moorings are improved along with replacing the lost ones, dredging, etc, etc
kpnut
Thanks Jean, I’dalready done it when it first came out, hopefully a few more folk have done too. It’s about the most user unfriendly survey ever written! And doesn’t really get to the crux of the issues of a disjointed network of poorly maintained public rights of way. It’s a bit odd though that BA are conducting the survey but have very few responsibilities over the rights of way. I’ve been told on a number of occasions that the emphasis at present is on widening access from land, to land, not access from water to land, which is where BA could make such a difference.
