One week tomorrow we head up to the Thames we have 2 weeks booked on Lady Chloe from Kris Cruisers

not sure how I’m feeling about it looking forward to time on the boat but also nervous of the unknown

hopefully the weather will be better than it is here

We had a wonderful trip on the Thames a few years ago. I did find it less easy to find moorings so that’s maybe a consideration for your planning.
It’s worth checking which locks are manned and when but we found them to be easy even unmanned.
Enjoy

Quite a good choice for the Thames I think. We had Lady Victoria for four nights in June and though she was lovely I think a dually is the way to go.

The non-tidal Thames is a LOT less busy than the Broads, and there are fewer moorings but still a good number of places to stop. On a two-week trip you should have time to get up to Oxford?

I was really impressed by the Thames, it's very pretty and it's a fun game to look up the nice riverside houses on Rightmove and wonder who on earth has that sort of money.
