Being stuck across Potter is quite common I think. The inexperienced don't realise it's not safe to turn close to the bridge. Clearer signage as per Reedham would be helpful.

That I understand was in the control of one of the bridge pilots at the time.

Oh dear so if the boat was damaged,i wonder who foots the repair bill.?

Hi Grendel,

Have you not realised yet that a warning sign like that is similar to the ones you can see at the side of the road.

You know the ones that a lot of people think " That does NOT apply to me because I think I know better"

You might as well put up a sign saying "Please do not hit the bridge too hard"

I agree and the current sign is neither big enough nor scary enough. It should also be red and not yellow as yellow implies a warning rather than "danger do not".
