I thought that as businesses start moving to out of season opening hours, it might be helpful to post them here for the information of anyone living in the area or visiting over winter.

So disappointing if you turn up somewhere you were looking forward to only to find it closed.

What, you mean the pubs wont stay open even if they know you and Mrs Nog are coming

Dunes river cafe at Acle bridge shuts at the end of the month last day is Sunday 3rd November if I remember correctly what they said, open again in March sometime.

This is from Tidings Newsagents in Horning. 

But good news that they are opening the post office very soon now, Friday 29 November at 13.00. And the post office counter hours will be

Monday to Friday 09.00 to 17.00

Saturday 09.00 to 16.00

Sunday closed

The Hungry Otter at Salhouse Broad has posted that they are closing at the end of Friday 1st November. They won’t be open at the weekend. I would presume that this is just their usual winter closure and they will be back next year.

Maltsters Ranworth will be closing Mondays and Tuesdays but open for the rest of the week , November and December , come January they will also be closed on Wednesdays .

The shop closes (as usual) at the end of the month

The Big Shop at Womack Staithe has posted on Facebook this morning. 

Just to let you all know today is the last day of the season for the Big Shop however the tackle side is staying open and will be trading for all your needs plus bait, maggots and pike bait 😁
The pump out will be staying open as well if needed and thank you all once again for your custom.

That's a wrap folks!! Hire boats are all back in the marina for the end of their season, ready for the start of their winter maintenance programme.  

The change in season also means our kiosk opening times.  The kiosk will only be open Monday to Friday 10am to 4pm for fuel and pump outs.
We will be operating on an appointment only basis for any weekend kiosk needs Please ring the main office, select reception and speak to Charlie to pre book -
