Springsong
Sounds as if the cockpit filled up. What a shame, why do people get ashore with a stern warp, they have no control over the boat. http://www.adls.org.uk/t1/node/

No Idea Barry, but one sees it all the time, that and casting the bow off when leaving a mooring with a hard flow on the bow. Actually why do people get ashore at all untill they have a couple of lines on, its not hard to do with a little practise.
donnygeoff
I know this is a little off topic, but not much... Wasn't there a cat called lucky Sam, or something like that. If I remember rightly he was on the Bismark (or another famous ship) when it went down and was saved by another ship, that later sank when he was on it, and he was saved again. They say they have 9 lives.
