And for those of you who do make it I've just organised a Happy Hour (5-7pm) tomorrow in the Royal Oak..

IPA at £2/pint and IPA Gold/Golden Hen at £2.70/pint... Large glass of wine at £3.50...

Next it's a lunchtime visit to Geldeston Locks on Sunday... depart 11.00 prompt onboard the good ship Friday Girl..

Well take as many as drops the PL by up to 6ins... see us Sat afternoon when we'll try it out.

Unfortunately last night saw the start of one of Heathers Vertigo episodes, I left it till now as she still wanted to come and spent the day sleeping to try and get rid but she can hardly stand.

Obviously we would come but for the embarrassment of people thinking that she may have been drinking during the day. Something that I know no one at the meet could possibly condone.

Hope to catch up with everyone very soon.

Sorry I've just caught this but on behalf of us all we hope she's soon back on song.

We've had a pretty wonderful two days and the trip to Geldeston Locks' Inn to day was just the icing!

Let's hope you'll be able to make the Autumn Meet . First w/e in Oct at Coldham hall.

The next will be the Autumn Meet..... Coldham Hall, first weekend in October......... more details in a few weeks.

We had a great time at Beccles at the weekend and it was very nice to catch up with some old friends and meet new ones. Many Many thanks to John & Mary-Jane (Hockham Admiral) for organising the meet and ferrying everyone up the Waveney to Geldeston Locks for Sunday lunch time drinks, even had a sing song on Friday Girl. By the way John "Who the what is Alice" lol!!

In total we had 12 Boats turn up and quite a few members arrived by car. The weather was on our side with only a few very light showers on the Sunday, a total contrast to last year.

I even managed not to fall in this year so kept dry for the whole weekend.

Unfortunately I forgot my camera so hope other members will post a few up soon.

Another big thank you to John and Mary-Jane for organising such a great meeting. It was lovely to meet old friends and new and hoping to make October at Coldham Hall.
