Guest
We're staying in a waterside cottage on grebe island at Horning at the end of August and just to complicate fishy things further, besides bringing the usual deadbait rods, spinning rods, coarse rods and quiver rods we're bringing the fly gear ! The idea is to use it early morning and late evening when the fish are usually rising to flies. Rest of the time I'm going to try for Bream late in the evening using scaled down carp gear with a bolt rig, buzzer and 10mm boilies, so I can float fish at the same time. Has anybody had any luck with these techniques ? I'm hoping to grab a few roach and perch on the fly and some decent bream on the boilies. Antares_9
My brother used to fly fish for pike and Perch on the Broads with some success.
