Real Ale and Music Festival - 25th - 27th August

Great beer, great food and great entertainment!

This year sees us host our first ever Real Ale and Music Festival at Dereham Station - a weekend featuring great live music and scores of different Real Ales from local breweries. An intensive timetable will operate between Dereham and Wymondham ALL DAY using a mix of steam and heritage diesel locos. A late night service is laid on at 2130 and 2330 from Dereham to get you home!

Ciders and soft drinks will also be available, and an on-board bar will be available on most trains. Hot food will be available on all days right through to the evenings, as well as the station buffet for cold snacks and sandwiches during the day. We also intend to run a free heritage shuttle bus to North Elmham for The Railway Tavern's Beer Festival.

We will be operating a Challenge 25 policy over the weekend - if you're lucky enough to still have those youthful good looks, please do not be offended if one of our staff asks you for ID!

Live bands on Sat and Sun evenings.

Sounds a great weekend, many thanks for sharing the info with us. Just wish I could be there!! Glad to see you have beer from local breweries, there is some superb beer coming out of Norfolk these days.

I hope your first festival is a great success (which I’m sure it will be). And welcome to the Norfolk Broads Net!
