Years ago and I mean years I went to the local launderette , as we did, and it happened to me and the woman in charge came bustling over bright red with anger with me for mucking up 'her' machine and put tablespoons of salt into the machines drawer. The foam subsided. Dont ask me why though.

I am not sure what these things do in the corner of the utillity room, but understand they must be prayed to and fed on a regular basis.

I am called in to look at it from time to time by my tearfull wife, its on the blink again! Out come the tools the back is off and a repair is done, brushes last time, ordered and installed, but unable to work for acouple of days, gloom all round,drawers getting empty, there must by a connection.

Why is it that the machine always breaks down on perfect drying weather and never the rainy days?

Geeze washing up! I just put all mine in the toilet and flush, if you put a bleach block in the cistern they come out all nice and clean,,,

ps If you want to really annoy the boss use the iron as a laminator.
