Is it normal for tapatalk to use large amounts of data?

Next to my android operating system Tapatalk has used the most ony data usage, twice as much as the combined amount of the rest of my internet which covers 3 other forums and ally google stuff.

Apologies for my naughty reply and that on the "beating the Potter odds" thread too last night. Was in a mischievous mood!

It is the stock ROM and over the last week it has used 444KB.

I know that is not vast but another 2 forums and all my other internet usage has only gone through 235kb, I don't use much mobile data as I am normally on WiFi but given the rate of use for the one forum on TapaTalk which I certainly use no more than the others it seems high and one to watch if on mobile all the time.
