After the Spring Meet at OBYS the Summer NBN Get Together will be at Beccles YS on the first weekend of the Summer School Holidays(25th- 27th July, 2013). :grin::grin::grin:

This will again be open to all (including other forum members) and if the past two years have been anything to go by it will be some do! :band

Col and Mark have volunteered to help make it even better this year and we have quite a few ideas!

So names, etc, please and we'll start it off......

Just a reminder about the Summer Meet. The booking system has changed because some of us left it very late to withdraw from the Spring Meet at OBYS and they had turned away other good customers. (We had taken up all the pontoon spaces with our booking).

So in future we must individually contact OBYS or Beccles YS and reserve the mooring, effective now! (So get calling!).

Hello John & Mary-Jane,

I will pass the information on to Trish & John our owners that should be on Ranworth Breeze on the weekend (25th to 27th July) assuming there share has not been sold by then, if that was the case I would pass on the information to the new owners.

One of these days one of the meets will fall on my weeks.

I've just been speaking with Tim (Beccles HM) on 01502 712 225 and he assures me that the moorings, both sides of the river, on the OSOTB are still
ONLY FOR BOATS DE-MASTING or WHO CAN'T GET UNDER THE BRIDGE.
I read somewhere recently that they had been changed to Public 24hr moorings... incorrect.
Steve, the local BA Ranger has been handing out notices since I last saw him a few weeks ago. Tim tells me they are now penalty ones.
If there is no space and the boat declines to move for you when asked, then tell them that you are calling Broads Control (01603 756 056) and they will be fined if they don't.
