Hi all

can anybody suggest where i can buy a good second hard one or bard new please

with oil gage

fuel gage

oil temp

engine temp

battery gage

and a new ignition key and barrel

Not that simple Jonny, some of the instruments will need new sensors as they are matched, particularly the temp gauges.

These people often have brand new high quality (VDO) gauges at silly low prices.

so what would be the best way to go around this as were replacing all of the gages on the boat

Tacho aside Jonny,( I'm not sure if yours is cable or sensor driven or alternator sensed) just get new gauges with sensors, (senders) the difference in cost against a bare gauge is minimal. Whilst you're at it rip out the old cabling to them unless fairly new and replace with tinned multistrand for greater reliability. ebay is often a good source for stuff like that.

More dials than concorde here and even mounting pods and stuff.

the gages on EBay are that expensive so i think it wont be to dear doing the rewire would this be easy to do or would you suggest on getting expert help

If you are methodical and follow the instructions on the tin, from what you have said in the past I imagine your father would be more than capable of doing the job Jonny.
