it looks like she wasn't cared for at all since I sold her as I recognise parts that I passed on with her still

laying as I left them.

just as well she has been passed on again ... some one got a bargain as she was sound and had a good engine etc.

I wonder if she has left the broads and hope she will be looked after now.

I think she is still there. In one of Rakes Retreats latest restoration pictures (though obviously I dont know just how recently they were taken) you can see her in the background. There is also no feedback for the seller so maybe she didnt sell after all...

I have just had news that the ebay sale did not go through and that she may be bought

and loaded out to London soon.

if the new owners see this thread, I do hope they stay in touch with news of her.

airwaves belonged to a local radio station and they came along side to work on her.

if anyone is seriously interested in her ... I can pass on contact to the owner until the sale is finalised.

I put in a self circulating heating system that heats 3 radiators and the hot water

all run off the solid fuel stove or the engine or both.

one small rad is in the bathroom ... one large rad in the saloon and the last small rad

at bunk level in the forward cabin.

there is a lot to be said for an iroko bottom ... wish I had one now

I have many more pictures of work done from 2000 on but they are mainly pre digital and need sorting through

among hundreds of the broads ive been meaning to scan ....... all mainly boats.

this is on her way into the classic shed ... must have been around 2002 ish
