Just to be clear, it is "administration" not "liquidation" - there is a big difference.

 

Hopefully there will be a buyer soon. Thoughts are with the 230 odd workforce that were made redundant yesterday.... :(

Something along these lines has been expected for a while now. 

Having been made redundant twice I have a good idea what the Sealine workforce are going through, I've known some of them for a while. 

This may affect some of Sealine's suppliers as many are owed money.

 

Personally I'm not sure they will find a buyer but I sincerely hope they do.

It would be a pity if this company went the way of so many companies over the last few years.

We all like to have a choice of suppliers especially on boats which is a very personal thing when looking around for a boat, there are many things we like or dislike.

Thats terrible news,  The new Administrators will certainly try to sort it out.

Downsizing and stopping production, keeping the Name and just selling spares would be a idea im sure they are looking at.
