Please find below the menu choices for Saturday 5th October.
 
Starters
 
Seasonal soup of the day, home made bread
 
Creamy mackerel pate, herbed Yorkshire pudding, lemon wedge
 
Smoked chicken and ham hock terrine, toasted bread, Yareside picalilli
 
Mains
 
Chicken, ham and leek pie with a puff pastry top, creamy mash potato, seasonal vegetables
 
Fish pie comprising of haddock, salmon and prawns topped with cheddar cheese mash potato, with creamy peas and smoked bacon
 
Vegetarian lasagne with home made garlic bread
 
10oz Swannington chargrilled ribeye steak, garlic & herb butter, baked flat mushroom, slow roasted tomato, skin on hand cut chips, beer battered onion rings, dressed salad leaves (£6.00 supplement)

Desserts
 
Baked vanilla cheesecake, toffee sauce
 
Dark chocolate brownie, chocolate sauce, vanilla ice cream
 
Bread and butter pudding, custard
 
Three course menu: £20.00 per head
Three course menu including Ribeye steak: £26.00 per head

Hi

Hope you're okay.

I was wondering if you had an idea of numbers for Saturday night as we have only had a handful of pre orders so far and will need to know final numbers by Wednesday.

Also do you know if many people are planning on eating or coming on the Friday just so we have an idea of how many to cater for.

As in the past we are happy for you to have use of all our moorings on the Saturday night but we will need to let other customers moor up on the Friday night.

We booked our order in last week. We had a return e-mail from Natalie confirming our order. The only thing i did`nt do was say at what time, as i`d assumed (silly thing to do?) that we would all be arriving at the same time, which i was going to ask about when we got there on Saturday morning.

I don't think the seating arrangements for the meal were very good this year as we were all far too spread out, so maybe next time we should suggest one long table or something?

We could easily have moved your table adjacent to the long one (set for 8) that Jonzo, Neil, myself and wives were sat at, Mark.

 

There were 4 empty spaces on our long table when another four chose to sit alone at one of the tables set for the public.

 

It's very difficult to please most of the people any of the time, isn't it?

Just got back from a very sunny Norfolk, to a not so sunny Dorset. It did feel strange coming away on a Monday, especially as the weather was so good.

 

We had a fabulous time, and would like to thank John and Mary Jane for all their hard work involved in organizing yet another fabulous weekend. It was really good to see everybody again, and was really good to meet "Jonzo" and Lucy for the first time. I did take a few pics, and will post them up as soon as i`ve downloaded them.

There`s no such thing as can`t make it......... We hired specifically for that weekend, and had a 500+ miles round trip, so if Karen and i can do it, then i`m sure you can.  There are several fleets within a couple of hours cruising of the Coldham Hall, and all will hire for a weekend break from Fridays, so no poor excuses please.

 

You`ve no excuse now Geoffers, next time, BE THERE OR BE SQUARE, as they say in radio and tv land. Then i will at long last be able to put a face to the name and buy you a beer..
