gancanny
anyone on the river this bank holiday could visit barton regatta, this event is not for the faint hearted, loads of sailies and even more cruisers, navigating from one end to the other can be quite daunting for anyone new to the broads but in my opinion it is well worth a visit

ExMemberBobdog
Soupdragon, come on down the Ant from Stalham, onto Barton Broad. Carry on for 100 yards or so and keep over to the left, a little way outside the posts marking the channel (don't worry, there's plenty of depth for you here). Come to a stop, drop your mudweight, brew up a pot of tea and watch the fun. It's one of the Broads' great regattas - a privilege to be able to watch it!
