Hylander
As to other uses of Breydon at the time - I do recall in the conversation that behind them was a Hardy and they were wondering how he had coped. On the particular day they crossed the water was very calm and not choppy or rough until Horaah Henry and his pal arrived on the scene. With the stretch of water that Breydon has , surely they could have had their 'giving it a lot of welly time' when other boats were not around. If someone does do this kind of thing I think they are extremely selfish and thank goodness it is rare that this happens. Leo Magill - if your Avatar is a photo of your boat then I do think you are seeing the crossing of Breydon from a slightly different perspective from an older couple in an Alpha 32.

Quite right, too, however experienced (or not) you are.
