ANY HOT SPOTS?

I'LL BE AFLOAT FOR A WEEK STARTING FRIDAY. ARE THERE ANY PARTICULAR HOT SPOTS ON THE BURE, ANT OR THURNE AT THE MOMENT? I WILL NOT BE GOING FURTHER THAN ACLE AND CANNOT GET THROUGH EITHER WROXHAM OR POTTER BRIDGES

Hi Jeff,

My brother in law fished off the front of the boat whilst moored at the Womak Staithe, also handy for a walk up the lane to the Pub.

There are two in particular that I've used recently in the area you will be in but would not be so naive as to post them on an open forum

 

Nor for that matter would I expect anyone to divulge their known hotspots publicly either

I always had good fishing off the bow of the boat when moored stern on at Ranworth Staithe. Good bream used to appear at dusk. I don't mind divulging this one as I can't get my boat up to the northern rivers now, so not likely to fish there again  .

 

Also heard good things about Fleet Dyke (entrance to South Walsham broad) but not fished it myself.

Personally, i don`t think there ARE any hotspots as i`m concerned, as i never catch much anywhere. Where have all the smileys gone?.
