New ideas for waterways?

Theses youngsters have ideas that may seem extreme ,but maybe some real young blood could shake up the BA ,as these are the users of the future. What would you do ?

The river Wensum through Norwich has certainly become one of the most wasted tourist opportunities in the UK.

 

The responsibility is much wider than just the BA though, the City Council's management of the area into mostly just expensive housing is a major factor.

 

Good ideas and enthusiasm are certainly needed, but I had to smile at "They suggest floating restaurants, as well as an underwater eatery where diners can view the fish at their leisure,"

 

Water clarity might be a bit of a problem.....

I don't think any of those ideas are that extreme!  they will probably never happen because of the "if you want that go somewhere else" attitude of many people.

When do the good ideas and enthusiasm of youth turn into the grumpy "over my dead body" of old age.

The scheme would develop waves up to four metres high by using a 30-metre wide point break wave machine and heat-treat the water up to 30C – the same as the Gulf of Mexico.

 

That would make a trip into Norwich by boat interesting....
