just a update for my end ............

 

lovely roach ,perch in good numbers no big bream ................

 

plenty of me ole mate mr and mrs pike .................

 

basin full of fish and plenty to go round so mr otter happy and the king fishers as I saw last week

 

 

lots of the pike men about again ..not in my yard orf me land ........!!!!!

 

ask nicely and i.ll let you, just turn up expect abuse

 

I don,t go in yer garden and sit in a chair ............

 

all in good fun and in gest ............

 

 

no dead fish on river or in dykes up here

 

water level high and running free from the ole canal as it should ............

 

any one fish the northwalsham canal ????

more up date spoke to customer who fised last day or so and he caught 100 fish easy ,not bad  thourgth a mix of breeds too...........

 

 

he got so excited he was happy to sit in the ole rain...silly sod ...!!!!

fishing in the wet and cold this week end

 

pike men in low numbers ..........

 

pike slow to take .........murky waters and lots or rain orf the ole land ,cloud little and sun bright first thing

 

small fish in plentiful supply lots of activity with the local man "bruce " boosting his weekly total "if only I had the time "..... 

 

no otters no grebes and no goumarants .........

 

a few gull drift by and a boat or two ...........

blimmey it must of been the biggest jump from a fish I,ve ever seen here

 

whilst moving around the ole place I crept up the deck of a 40 footer and then a huge jump and splash from what can only be described as a monster appered about ten foot infront of me ...whoosh

 

I reckon it was my old enemy the " hunsett monster" come to tease me

 

now where is me ole mate" lash up " hell back me story up too...????

Despite all of the doom and gloom that was said about the fishing up at Potter Heigham since the surge,    this week has been good,   I have seen Pike caught up to 31pounds and lots of decent Bream.     This is all good to see.

rite I,m off to me fav spot this week to see some chubb...........

 

and I,m going to put me neck out too to see if I get some crayfish too ....

got a nice pic of a little ole pike that was caught today on our own wayford broads

 

 

as the rest of the day report here were dead re little fish and lots of activityso that explains a lot....!!! 

 

I know he / she is not a happy bunny but could of smiled for the pic .......

pike a bit quite now this week but good news large numbers of huge perch 

 

they lay in the holes in the deepest depth yer know .......

 

otter s runnning arund and abouts ........

 

 

lots of activity on the surface feedrs and no eels ........................

river very quite no ells no otters no fish ....

pike boys went out in last two sessions and dead than a dead thing .......

not a bite .tug run .........nowt .......

weather, grey fog and then sunsine late afternoon....

pressure 117 mb and on change so it says .....

little moon showing and temp drop to a mild 3.5 degress..brrrr in early eve ..........

water still but clear no heavy soil deposits floating through the ole system this end ........

this week so dull even mr otter and the kids stayed in bed ...!!!!!!!

fish are back pike are biteing bit slow and very timmed ................

 

not much on the main river more in the dykes and basin around as far as barton to wayford too........

when i pushed the ole zebra muscles back into slip the ole fish soon come out to play they just love them.......................ummmmmmmmmmmmmmm new bait i fear .........................
