Boat Boats Burgees

Hi all,

i have just returned to the forum and want a bit of help if you can.  I have a Bounty 27 and would like to find the design (if there was one) of the Bounty Boat flag. I would like to get a flag and burgee made so that I can fly them on the boat.

 

can anyone put me in the right direction to find this design?

candr, I'm not entirely sure that Bounty Boats ever had a pennant as such. They produced boats and hulls for the hire fleets, who had their own pennants.

 

If you take a look at this Bounty Boats site, particularly at the foot of the Boat Brochures pages, you will see a graphic which appears to depict the double B in blue sails. I can't say I've ever seen this in pennant form on any boat, though. I doubt whether many people, even Bounty owners, would recognise it.

Dear All,

Thanks for all the helpful comments and evidence that a burgee was made for the Bounty Boat.  I intend to have it made for my boat and will celebrate with a bounty milk chacolate with a coconut miost centre ........ummmmmmmmmmmmmm.
