AC Isolation Transformer vs Galvanic Isolator

Before anyone picks me up on Ella's AC wiring - I KNOW!

Now to the subject in hand:-

I dislike galvanic isolator's and wouldn't give one boat space.

There's no substitute for a proper Marine AC Supply Isolating Transformer.

Here's why:-


So when I finally get round to ripping out our current (inherited) wiring and starting again, I'll be looking for a suitable space for something like this (I need some more ballast):-
