ranworthbreeze
Norwich like several areas including Sheffield had some snow flakes this morning.Have a look at the excellent photo taken this morning of Norwich Cathedral.http://www.eveningnews24.co.uk/news/first_snowfall_of_2014_falls_this_morning_in_norwich_1_3253528RegardsAlan
littlesprite
So having seen your picture, I've now got to rush out and panic buy 6 months food just in case 1963 is round the corner. That was the worst winter I can remember and very cold.
Paladin
A very nice picture, I agree, but I think you'll find that it is a stock photo. If you read the story, "The wintery dust fell for just a few minutes towards Thickthorn Roundabout but did not settle" (that's on the A.47 southern bypass, not the city centre). It was cold in Norwich this morning, but there was no snow on the cathedral.
reedham
I was about to say the same! Sadly out in Reedham we didn't get any Looks like we're going to have an entire winter without a single flake of snow.
Paladin
After the snow of last winter, I decided to have winter tyres fitted to my, and my wife's, car for this winter! Bl**dy typical, the temperature has hardly dropped below 7 degrees this year (in Norfolk anyway). Below 7 degrees is when winter tyres are more efficient than summer tyres. I'm almost praying for snow, just to justify the not-inconsiderable expense.
