kadensa
Siddy, my tide-table shows Monday 15/9 low tide at Potter 11:49 and Tuesday 16/9 12:40, so you should be fine time-wise.
Boaters
Last season found the pub in West Somerton to have a good welcome , food and drink..I used to ring daily to find out when we would have to come back through the bridge

Kadensa's times are closer, about 4 hours later for Potter, and another few minutes for Wroxham, though that far upriver it's only an estimate, where the weather can have a greater effect than at Sea. ranworthbreeze
Hello Siddy,I have to agree with the others on Monday 15th September low tide will be around 11.49am at Potter Heigham according to the Shore Base site, Herbert Wood table shows the time to be 8.49am with a 3 hour delay for Potter Heigham.Have a look at all of our links for tide tables in Visiting The Broads.RegardsAlan
BroadScot
Hi Siddy, I would do as I have done in the past, phone the pilot the day before, he will let you know if your boat will get through or not. That is what I did the last time I tried to get through there. Best of luck on that one.The Telephone number is 01692 670460 for the Pilot. Iain. Broads01
I agree Iain. I haven't had much luck getting through Potter at all in recent years. The exception was April 2013 when on Bright Horizon and the water was unusually low. As I recall if the pilot can take you through he'll prefer a time leading up to low water rather than when afterwards when the water is rising. BroadScot
Simon, we had to leave the Pleasure Boat Inn at the crack of dawn once to get the Pilot at 7.45am. I think for the same reason you mentioned with the tide. He had warned us though, it would mean an early rise the following morning. Iain.
