Hi thought I had joined years ago but no

Got to say, that like Jason, I did wonder about jumping ship, so to speak. I had always avoided this forum for reasons that are now completely irrelevant so making the move did take a bit of an effort on my part. However I am glad that I did and can thoroughly recommend the NBN to both Jason & to all others who might be hesitating.

To absent friends.

I have to say that I read several forums, two in particular I joined this one several years ago when Wattny ( not sure spelt correct) moved. Up to that point I only knew about one. I still read both and find useful articles on both. I find this one to be more friendly and feel more at ease contributing.

I just wish I lived in a world where we all got on and loved each other. We don't all have to be the same just respect the difference........so far I have found that here.

Well today I have made my first post in over two years, that I have been a member.

Sorry I have been away so long.

I hope to contribute to as many posts that I can help with.

Electronics, electrical work, and Honda Outboards, seems to be where my boat expertise is.

Together with alternators etc, to which drew me to making my first post in years.

Glad to be back.

Specialist subject forums have become one of the major knowledge benefits from the Internet.

The ability to communicate instantly with other people interested in the same things is probably the biggest community advance forward since magazines and newspapers were invented.

I participate on several of them on various subjects, and  have no declared "allegiance".

I'm interested purely in the content, and that comes solely from the members.......

Well I have been a bit slow to this thread and the new members - so hello all :)

It matters not what a forum is about, but it is nothing without its members – this forum has a far more open feel about things, a friendly place somewhere views can be discussed and shared freely.

I’ll be posting more here keeping you at times entertained, and at others shouting at the monitor for the errors I make – I’ll also be supporting it where I am able and spreading the word.

I'm sure many of us read that (i'm shocked!) and I'm the same will not happen here.. I certainly don't think hiding the post from the listings was a good idea.. Welcome over here though! I admit it would be nice to only have one forum to read though!

Thank you, NBN, for welcoming myself and other refugees from that other place. I have just taken a peep at a thread regarding those of us who moved over, the genie is well and truly out of the bottle now. NBN, thank you for being as you are, a far more pleasant place to be.

Peter, you are all our gain, and long may you enjoy the company here. :clap :clap :clap

I want to keep shouting at you Robin, so please keep posting, as you are part of what keeps me going to my next holiday on the Broads.

Welcome to all the 'Newbies' new and old - there is quite a few of them/us of late. (Wonder why that is? :naughty: )

I'm feeling a bit bruised at present and proper annoyed at having to post and defend mysen in that other place. I like the members here much more and especially the mods (Creeping again!).

Thanks to the old faces for making me welcome :kiss
