Yes the guy pops over in a boat to collect the mooring fee at the Island moorings both at lunchtime and night, likewise someone does the same at Salhouse (including the river moorings) I am not sure if it is the same guy but both locations are owned by the same person.

Here is a couple more pics of st benets, after that we had a slow saunter upto ludham & had a brunch at the wayfarers cafe, & it was delicious lol, it was certainly filling with two slices of toast.

After we left ludham wd decided to go to sutton staithe for the the night, but no chance, it was completely full from one end to the other, so we had to come back to the yard, & look what i spotted lol, . Lori

congrats Lori, on capturing a totally different view of st bennets, so many people concentrate on the outside broader view, your pics show what the original building used to look like (with imagination)

It certainly has had a spruce up.     I have never noticed the carvings at the top of the arch before.

Hi Lori

We moored at Stracy on the sunday and witnessed the same thing.

I'd seen this on tv but never in real life, i have some video as well but its still on the camera at the moment

When we woke on the Monday we couldn't see a thing for the fog but still saw a number of boats heading for Yarmouth (and disappointment)
