Star Premier.

She was built in the winter of 1958/9 for the Earls Court Boat Show.  She was on the Blakes stand

She is a centre cockpit round bilge Broads cruiser of

Length         34’6”

Beam            10’

Berths           4

She has her original Parsons Pike engine and original Parsons Gearbox. The engine is a Ford D series 2.7 litre 4 cylinder I believe of 57 HP marinized by Parsons.

Over the seven years we have spent working on her with much help from good friends and professional boat builders much of the fabric of the boat has been repaired or replace.

Most of the rear 10’ of the boat is new including both rear bulkheads the outer transom  and much of the rear frame work all the lockers in the rear cockpit, the galley is all new

As are both the front and rear cabin roofs which have 2 layers of ply with cloth and epoxy finish and 2 coats of 2 pack paint

The iconic wind down bus / coach windows, against many peoples advice have been retained.

She has been completely rewired with both the 12 volt and the 240 volt systems having new fused systems.

An inverter of 3kw with a 6kw overload capability has been fitted.

A Mikuni boiler with 3 matrixes heating the cabins and a calorifier of 30 litres with an emersion heater of 1 kW as a backup.

We have a Jabsco electric head to starboard forward and to

Port a shower which has its own pump and is evacuated to its own sump and bilge pump.

She has two bilge pumps a forward 500g/hr. and aft a 1500g/hr.
