You can turn them off in your profile settings, as I have done. And should snow appear, I'll post how to get rid of it for those who don't want it.

I quite liked it, but questioned if it was that responsible for the error messages that popped up on my laptop whilst i was on site, and stopped when the snow went away

I like the snow and would like to say yes to snow lol BUT, when it was falling my screen on my laptop kept freezing when scrolling. Taking to much memory I think. So Bah Humbug, I have to say no.

Ill Put 5 flakes on for a little while, and set the time to 10 seconds before they disappear

i did 70 flakes over the weekend and it made things run a bit slow
