Has anybody ever had a Perkins 4108 reconditioned or had one fitted ?

Hi Colin, a friend of ours had a reconditioned 4108 frtted in 2007 donr know who fitted it but can find out if you would like, he is very pleased with the result.Robin.

Maffett cruisers at loddon are the boys for reconditioned they done my engine 8 years ago and still no problems if you have got a 4108 its better to stick with them they will out last any nanni also you would problerly have to alter the engine beds and prop if you changed the engine.

C.Ricko would be a good person to comment on Nannis, personally I think they are good as they have been in use on hire fleets since the late eighties. He would be a good person to talk about rebuilding Perkins as well. I'm afraid i'm not a fan of 4107/4108's but I used to love the BMC's as they were fairly bulletproof.
