Look Who I Just Spotted!

Recommended Posts

We had a ride down to St Osyth's and Mersea island and a look around some holes and shelves, loads of private and charter angling boats around and all seemed to be into the spring Cod run in a big way. The angling boat ahead of us in the lock had done so well he was still not only still gutting the catch waiting at the posts for the lock but even IN the lock :o:o

Viz was down a bit but the sea was so nice on the return trip we just engaged george, set the throttle at 15kts and sat back and enjoyed the scenery. (whilst of course keeping a propper lookout)

Looks like from the webcam he was in a hurry to get them in the freezer :naughty:

As you know if we get rocked around early morning it almost always a fishing boat - who can blame them wanting to get out and at them
