Username change? Yes or no?

I'm confudled! Whats peoples views on changing usernames? I'm in the process of buying a new boat which will obviously result in me selling existing boat, current boatname is my username, how confusing will that get when I'm running around in a different boat and someone else is running around in Leo? Other side is someone else takes on the username and gets blamed for all my stupid ramblings over the years, poor sod!

I suppose I'd better wait to see how the survey on the new toy goes first before getting carried away.

Leo I changed my name no problem.

It is also a good way to hide, but this lot on here soon learn and discover past dismeaners.

You could ask for your old name to be locked. Then a new owner would have to be: say:

L. Magill or LeoMagill2 or LeoMagill Jnr. Etc.

Why not just rename the boat?

or leave your old username and account open and start a new one. No one can steal it then. 

I now wonder how many of you there are out there?

i have heard that some people keep the name of the boat they've got as they say it brings them bad luck if they change it, as some people are very superstitious lol
