Man dies after being crushed on Wroxham boat

I saw this story on Facebook, not many details.Emergency services were called just after 10.00 am,to the Norfolk broads Yacht club.Very sad news my thoughts  go to family and friends.

The poor man was crushed when lowering the mast on his yacht. For people who are familiar with the mast lowering systems on Broads sailing cruisers this must produce a horrifying image. I never met the man but my sympathies are very much with his family & friends.
