I can't "like"

I hesitate to ask, as I probably won't understand the answer! On an older PC I am unable to add comments to threads. I my laptop I wished to like a comment by JawsOrca, but was told that I am not allowed to do so. So, JawsOrca, I liked your comment re the boat pictured in Norwich.

Glad you like me really John. Can you advise if the system is given you an error number when you try to like? It will help me look at system admin bits if so.

John, I can see you have "liked" that post. I suspect you tried to like twice which it errored advising or there was a refresh issue. If it happens again though keep a look out for an error number.

Ok thanks, our thingy that 'er on board understands something to do with signals, often gives up and we have to start again, I suspect my attempt to  "like" was interrupted by a dropping off and didn't immediately register. Thanks for your help
