Thanks for that, certainly not to be missed. Tim really does think it is a contact sports and does try to make sure he participates 

 

Timothy and Prunella go in search of London's lost canal route from Teddington, through Surrey and Sussex, and all the way to the sea at Littlehampton

I really enjoyed the first series. Its a good combination of factual and personal. Tim and Pru aren't afraid to let their personalities come through and there were some touching moments too.

More life Jackets in last nights program.

How does an hour long program seem to last only a few minutes. The canal and the broad waterways featured were almost like sections of Broads or the lochs in Scotland.

We have not used electric operated locks but have operated a few road bridges, most in the UK operate using the BWB key.

A great program to watch, we are looking forwards to next weeks episode.

You'll be disappointed , that was the last episode. They have recorded more I think in Sweden and other places to be shown at a later date.

I noted that when Mr West was skippering his own boat, he was a darned site more careful to avoid physical contact than he was with the hire boats he used for much of the series.  Great programmes though, I loved them.
