Hi 

Does any body no ,why  you are only allowed, to take on board 99 litres of Diesel  in one sitting? Curious that's all.

Is it because the dispensing pump you're using can only count to 99?

That's a thought. I could just picture yer average North Sea Trawler buying a tank full in 99 litre increments!

Or one of our bigger tugs which holds 1100 tons of fuel

oh yes that makes sense

I know its Norfolk but surely the yard concerned could reset the pump, like what we do in Suffolk?

Thought about hanging around and asking some else to get another 99 litres. Like being a teenager again

Seen it at roadside pumps but can assure you no restrictions on the south that I have found. In fact wish I could!!!

When we returned and filled up Carousel in Richos earlier in the year, the pump had to be reset at 150 litres and we had actually used 181 litres. No problem.
