Apart from the wet and windy weather I quite like the winter, gives me plenty of opportunity to get my head down in the workshop and make stuff.....  I really enjoy woodwork especially wood turning, to take what wood (pun intended) have been fire wood and turn it (another one) into something of beauty is very satisfying. Recently had a go at making some walking sticks inspired by a friend at Norfolk walking sticks, great fun and was appreciated by the head man on the shoot who always wears a bowler.

 

Its good to get away from people for a while and loose myself in the "man cave"

 

I love the smell of fresh shavings in the morning.
