This afternoon coming back from a sail on Berton

No sorry, the accents don't fit! if it were Norfick it would be Barrghton :D (where's Jon when you need him)

Now up here in the land of the flat caps and ferrets WE would pronounce it Berrton

For example telephone conversations in these parts are described as fern cerls and the head of the Catholic church is the perp, a well known fizzy drink is Kerker Kerler and so on. :taunt:

Nice flock of birds though are they starlings???

Pops, please make your mind up, it was Berton Broad earlier, I'm easily confused :naughty: I really think we should not be teasing Poppy over his slight spelling mistake, we have all made mistakes.

Pops while I'm on here just a reminder that when you teach me to sail, I'd much prefer it to be on the River Art :naughty:
